Blue Badge Scheme
What is it?
The Blue Badge Scheme provides a national arrangement of on street parking concessions for:
- Drivers or passengers with severe walking difficulties or who are registered blind
- People with very severe upper limb disabilities who regularly drive a specially adapted vehicle but cannot turn a steering wheel by hand.
How do I apply for a badge?

Where can I park?
- Parking rules and availability in Kingston, Greater London and nationally and are available from our blue badge page
- If you do not have access to the internet, phone 020 8547 5944 or 4683 (for Kingston parking) and 020 8547 5314 (for parking outside Kingston)

Can I have a blue badge parking space near my home?
There are very strict criteria which have to be observed before a disabled persons’ parking bay can be provided in a residential area.
