  • Aidis Trust  - The Aidis Trust gives services, advice, information and support to disabled people on everything to do with computing so that whatever their health, condition or age, they can get the most from technology. The website advises disabled people on how to maintain and adapt their computer; contains information about a huge range of adaptations with installation and user guides; has reviews by end users; and has a shop giving significant discounts on adaptations and computers for people who receive Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance.
The Aidis Trust national lottery funded helpline on 0845 120 3719 is open from 9:30AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday. It gives straightforward, non technical advice on computers and adaptations. If disabled people have problems using their computer, or their computer is not working properly, the helpline staff will help solve problems, either over the ‘phone or through remote support software.
  • Disabled Living Foundation - The Disabled Living Foundation is a national charity that provides free, impartial advice about all types of equipment for older and disabled people.
