Secure Parking in Kingston Town Centre
Kingston is piloting a new safer cycle parking scheme this September and October 2010.
On Saturdays from the 25 of September until the 30 of October the secure cycle storage facility at Kingston Guildhall (adjacent to the Market Place) will be available to all cyclists free of charge.
Throughout the day the facility will be staffed by Police Community Support Officers who will be able to provide advice on cycle security and generous discounts on cycle locks.
The secure store will be open from 9.00am until 6.00pm every Saturday and it is completely free to join the scheme. You will receive a unique ID which you will need to bring each time you use the facility, along with your own cycle lock.
So if you would like additional peace of mind when storing your bike during your Saturday visits to Kingston just complete a registration form and hand it to the staff when you come along.
