
- Actively involving young people in discussions relevant to them
- Promoting the importance of, and actively involving young people in the decision making process
- Developing links with external agencies i.e. Go South Go & UK Youth Parliament
- Enabling young people to lead on, and be involved in local democracy and citizenship activities
- Developing the voice of young people who are not currently attending KYC
Young people have the opportunity to:
- Attending youth forums
- To voice their opinion
- Meeting other young people
- Develop their skills for exploring issues for young people
- Develop their communication and team work skills
- Develop their confidence
- Have a voice about issues affecting young people
Young people aged 13 to 19 who either live in or are receiving education in Kingston.
- Monthly formal Meeting (normally first Monday of Month at the Guildhall)
- Workshop to work on issues etc. normally every third Monday at Devon Way Centre
- Annual Residential in January at Woodrow High House, Amersham
