Do you relate well to young people?
Could you help enable them to make the most of their lives and realise their full potential?
Kingston Youth Support Service aims to empower and optimise the potential of young people to give them the chance to develop new skills and take part in a wide range of challenging activities. It consists of programmes and events organised by full time professional youth and community workers, supported by teams of dedicated and conscientious part time youth workers.
As a part time youth worker, you'll encourage and support young people to develop their self-confidence, make decisions, work co-operatively with each other and value those who are different from themselves.
Developing your skills is important too! If you are new to youth work, you'll have the opportunity to train to become a nationally recognised, qualified part time youth worker, and our ongoing programme of training courses will enable you to gain new skills.
We have occasional evening vacancies for Volunteers working with young people at various Youth Centres and projects across Kingston. If you have the energy and enthusiasm to join one of our dynamic teams, then you may wish to take a look at our various job descriptions.
