Surbiton Children’s Centre Nursery is a purpose built nursery catering for 3 to 5 year olds, including children with special educational needs. High quality education and care, and support for families of young children are our priority.
The nursery delivers a wide range of high quality and responsive services for children and their parents/carers. The nursery is open for 49 weeks of the year and offers 114 places including part-time, extended day, lunch club, holiday playscheme and places for children with special educational needs (SEN). The SEN Unit offers places for 10 children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and is extended by work with a parents support group, outreach home based work and holiday fun day sessions. ‘Stepping Stones’ Playgroup offers 21 places, 4 mornings per week, 39 weeks of the year. A parent and toddler group operates for one morning per week. A range of training and meeting sessions are organised throughout the year to support parents with behaviour for example, and other early years/childcare providers with the development of practice.
