Welcome to the Children’s and Young People’s Trust commissioning page. Kingston makes a substantial investment annually in services for children and young people. Effective commissioning is essential to ensure that we can target the use of resources in the most effective way to deliver outcomes which have the greatest impact on Children and Young People.
Commissioning is about deciding what service is needed to meet agreed outcomes, how it should be delivered, and which public, private or voluntary organisation should deliver within effective use of resources.
This page is designed to bring together resources on all aspects of commissioning within Kingston including links to the current Commissioning Framework, which gives guidance on how to ensure commissioners are securing the right services which will have the most successful impact.
