This information is for guidance only and sets out in general terms the fees due for the various applications. The government, under regulations issued under the Licensing Act, have set out the fees due for an application.
Premises are banded into 5 bands ( A – E ) according to their non domestic rateable value.
Where a premises forms a part of the premises, and is taken into consideration for the non domestic rateable value of the whole premises then the fees due will be for the banding for the whole premises.
Some premises used for educational or community uses are granted licences for free.
For a conversion, variation, or new application the bandings and fees are as set out below:

When a variation application is attached to conversion then instead of two fees as above an additional fee is added to the basic as follows:

There are additional fees for those premises catering for large numbers of people above 6000.
The fee for these is £37
