Fire Authority Guidance for Public Safety
The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority is primarily responsible for the Public Safety objective of applications for Premise Licenses and Certificates.
The fire authority has indicated that when considering applications they will base their evaluation on the fire risk assessment of the premises.
A fire risk assessment may at first sight appear to be to daunting a task. With careful consideration however, they can be completed by the lay-person. Where applicants have difficulty in completing this risk assessment then please contact the London Fire Authority who may well offer you further advice.
