What will it cost?
The following are estimated rental costs for office, industrial and retail premises: to provide a reference point for businesses looking to locate or re-locate in the Royal Borough.

Office

• 30 minutes from central London, office rents in Kingston are approximately 50% cheaper at £14-22 per sq ft. Currently there is about 450,000 sq ft of office space available, a vacancy rate of about 12%.

Industrial

• Industrial building rents are around £6-10 per sq ft.

Retail

• Kingston Town Centre's retail rents for prime property in the Bentall Cntre and on Clarence Street achieve upto £265 per sq ft of Zone A, the highest in London outside the West End. This demonstrates Kingston's status as a shopping destination of choice.
• Elsewhere in Kingston town centre and in the Royal Borough there is a very broad range of rents. Prime property achieves a maximum of £70 per sq ft in Surbiton, £54 per sq ft in New Malden and £41 per sq ft in Tolworth.
