The Council’s Economic Development and Regeneration Co-ordinator, John Mumford states:
“Our new Open4Business software package empowers local businesses to find out about possible funding support. Even in areas such as the Royal Borough that does not enjoy special assistance status, there are typically over 250 schemes available to support business initiatives.
We believe that many organisations are deterred by a lack of awareness and time to conduct research into grants availability. With this facility such information is only minutes away.”
Kingston Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive, Lisa Gagliani was also enthusiastic about the scheme, stating:
“The grant finder portal is a tremendous step forward in helping small businesses and start ups find their way through a maze of support that is available, quickly and efficiently.
Kingston Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a contributor to the service content and it goes to prove that Kingston really is one of the best places to do business regardless of sector or size.”
