For support, information and advice on inward investment, property and premises, grants, economic development  and regeneration matters your first point of contact is Kingston Council's Partnership and Regeneration Unit.

The Partnership and Regeneration Unit works in partnership with organisations such as the local Chamber of Commerce, Kingston Innovation Centre, Business Link for London and South London Business to ensure businesses realise their potential. The framework for this is set out in the Council's Economic Strategy. For information on the economic strategy, please read the Kingston Plan (Kingston's vision for 2020):

Surbiton Business Information Sign Board and Map

On 3 September 2009, the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Shiraz Mirza inaugurated a new business information signboard located outside Surbiton station. The board contains a map of the area with comprehensive listings of Surbiton businesses and space on the reverse side for local businesses to promote themselves. As a ‘first of its kind’ initiative, the board was part funded by Kingston Council and sponsorship raised from local businesses. This project is part of our ongoing business support programme and it is hoped that the board will help to increase trade to businesses in Surbiton.
